VIRTUAL MEETING - October 20, 2021

Please join us for our upcoming virtual meeting,

"Designing a Lean Management System in a Materials Management Environment: How to set your teams up for daily success!"

Presented by:
Mike Osterling, President, Osterling Consulting, Inc.

(Click for more information)

Most of us work in very complex environments, in departments that are juggling multiple priorities. How do we know if we are really working on the right stuff? Was today a good day? Or, are we further behind than when we started?

True, we often have department-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which we are striving to achieve, but these are typically “lagging” in nature – they only reflect the results of our efforts. Learning at the end of the month how we did (e.g. inventory turns, or the frequency of stock outs) is too late! It’s tough to succeed if we are only looking in the rear-view mirror. So how does your team know if they are heading in the right direction, and on track to achieve their department’s goals?

In this interactive PDM you will learn how organizational KPIs can be used to identify the few, critical “Leading Indicators” which act as predictors for your team’s performance. Get a better understanding of how to use and visualize those leading indicators to identify problems proactively. See how this approach drives engagement and alignment, helps prioritize, and triggers the team to work on the right stuff – stuff that will truly impact end-of-period performance.
